The GOLDWATER is a special version of our The CLEARWATER twin line loudspeaker cable. In addition to its HULLIFLEX ® material jacket’s excellent impenetrability to environmental chemical agents, which after years of permanent exposure would be able to attack its Matched Crystal OFC strands through their extra dense defensive Silver coating, the extra embedded Gold colored filler material assures maximum protection: by exhibiting excellent reflective properties to ultraviolet radiation (UV) from the sun, any corrosive chemical activity on the conductors is reduced to a minimum. The GOLDWATER is especially intended for use as a twin line loudspeaker cable in areas with an increased corrosion activity such as industrial, coastal and humid tropical areas. Due to its maximum corrosion protection The GOLDWATER is excellently suited for use in permanent professional, commercial and industrial distribution setups such as church sound systems and shopping mall, airport and alike music distribution systems as well as in car hi-fi applications. As with all cabling in corrosive environments, proper care should be paid to seal all cable ends against air penetration; (contaminated) air tends to flow in and out of cables due to each day’s temperature variations.
